Use sites like LinkedIn, SimplyHired.com, LookSharp.com, Internships.com, angle. co where companies post new internship opportunities. Try to remain active on platforms like LinkedIn and angle. co. Reach out to people who are working in that company or have worked in the past with that company this will give you an idea of what kind of work you will be doing in that company.

Build a Resume for Internship

Resume building is these days play a key role in landing a great internship, so before you start applying for roles, it’s important to make sure that your resume is up to date and includes your relevant skills and experience. Practice Practice and practice

You need to practice for the interview. You need to practice for the Data Structure and Algorithm and You need to practice for the rejection as well. Starting with the first two, try to give at least 3–4 mock interviews before your final interview. Interviews are important as that is the place where your skills will be tested and verified. Have a good hold on your speaking skills. Don’t overthink about your rejection or tough questions.

Coming to the next part Data Structures and Algorithm. They will play a key role in your interview, especially for a paid internship. Before going for your interview brush up on your algorithms and preferred programming language. In every interview, you will be asked for your prefers programming language most of the time it C++/Java/python.

Build Your Network

Getting a personal recommendation is like a cherry on the cake, so make sure to reach out to friends, family, colleagues, classmates, professors, and alumni to see if they know anyone hiring. Another great strategy is to look up the companies you’re interested in and reach out to employees there for an informational interview. You never know what opportunities it might lead to.

Approach any company employee with a genuine and specific reason. On why they should hire you, send your resume and wait for their response.

Conclusion

Hope for the best. You will get many rejections sometimes you will feel low but this is how it goes, all your rejections will have a 0 sum once you get your internship. At the end of the day, only your position and company will matter. Thank You !!
